Published 2026-09-30

Marriott International, Inc. announced today the company reached the 300-property mark in Mexico, accounting for more than 44,000 rooms across 25 global brands in the country. The milestone reflects sustained investment and travel demand across the country’s Caribbean and Pacific coastlines, historic urban capitals, and rapidly developing industrial corridors. This momentum is supported by the company’s robust development pipeline in Mexico of 76 hotels representing more than 12,000 rooms, as of the second quarter of 2026. Conversions are playing an increasingly important role in the company’s expansion in the country, accounting for 35% of the signed pipeline.
