Namron Hospitality will debut La Valise Bacalar on December 15, 2026, marking the arrival of its La Valise collection on the shores of Bacalar’s famed Lagoon of Seven Colors. The opening represents the transformation of Boca de Agua, the acclaimed MICHELIN Key hotel designed by celebrated Mexican architect Frida Escobedo, into the newest expression of La Valise, expanding Namron’s presence in the region. Set within 36 hectares of protected jungle, more than 90 percent of which remains in its natural state, La Valise Bacalar features just 22 elevated treehouse suites and villas positioned between the dense Yucatán forest and the crystalline waters of Bacalar Lagoon. The accommodations were conceived to sit lightly on the land, preserving the forest floor and allowing the surrounding ecosystem to remain largely undisturbed.
